Shepard's volleyball team has been performing well this season, winning five matches to secure the championship of the nine-team Eisenhower Invitational in Blue Island. Junior outside hitter Oliver Bilik led the team with nine kills and two aces, helping them beat St. Laurence 25-22, 25-15 in the final match. Senior outside hitter Dylan Harkala and junior middle Connor Evans also contributed significantly. Coach Grace Culver praised Bilik's defensive skills and intelligence. They will face each other on May 4 in Burbank.
