On Thursday, Multnomah County, Oregon, is set to discuss a proposed ordinance that would ban mobile needle exchanges from within a 1,000 feet of a school. Currently, there are no laws regulating where these programs can operate. However, questions remain about why the county is spending tax dollars on distributing drug supplies.
