Mozilla's Firefox head, Ajit Varma, is leading a major redesign of the Firefox browser, Project Nova, aimed at increasing its user numbers and increasing privacy and features. The redesign aims to address the gap between AI, privacy, and additional features. Only 3.45 percent of American users currently use Firefox, a significant drop from the previous peak of 32 percent market share. Varma believes that the company's storytelling is lacking and that it is doing a good job of telling its story. The company's first foray into AI will be through the lens of Smart Windows, which can be developed by the same developer as any other app developer. The Project Nova update will update the interface for the first time in about six years.
