Newly released photos reveal a close-up view of Saturn, hundreds of millions of miles away from Earth. The James Webb Space Telescope and Hubble Space Telescope captured the sixth planet from the sun from different vantage points in 2024. The images, taken 14 weeks apart, helped scientists understand how Saturn’s atmosphere works and how its appearance can change. The telescopes will receive even better views of Saturn in the 2030s.
