Potential Houthi threat to Red Sea shipping could further damage global economy

The Houthis have made their first move towards Israel, launching missiles into the country's airspace. The group has previously targeted shipping through the Bab al-Mandab strait and potentially disrupting the Strait of Hormuz, two of the main strategic waterways for trade and energy supplies. The Houthis could also target energy and military infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
