Andy Peralta, a 32-year-old Uber Eats delivery driver, was killed when his scooter collided with an MTA bus in Bedford Park, New York. The driver was riding his 2025 Zhilong scooter north on Jerome Ave. when he turned left onto W. Mosholu Parkway South and was hit by an oncoming Bx28 bus. The collision left Peralata flying from his scoot and he suffered a severe head injury. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he died. The victim's family has launched an online fundraiser to help cover his funeral expenses.
