San Diego County wants your budget input

The public can vote on the next county budget through a new website, which allows residents to rank their priorities in order of importance. The county's funding will affect resources for mental health, homelessness, childcare, and other vulnerable individuals. The website is open until March 22. The proposal will be released on May 1 and approved before July 1. The majority of the funding comes from the state and federal government, and the rest from property taxes and other fees.
