The increasing likelihood of stagflation in the US economy is making small-cap stocks particularly attractive, according to Bank of America Securities. The bank identified Russell 2000 stocks in the top quintile in both value and quality, excluding stocks with total daily volume below $10 million. The firm's equity and quantitative strategist, Jill Carey Hall, noted that high quality stocks and those returning cash to shareholders have historically been the best performing styles amid a rising V.
