Shreveport police have described a mass shooting that killed 8 children and left at least 10 others seriously injured. The suspect, identified as Chris, is believed to have fired shots at the victims and is now deceased. The incident occurred in the 300 block of West 79th Street, which is a large crime scene. The victims range from 1 year to approximately 14 years old, and all of the deceased are juveniles. Shreveport Police responded to a domestic call about a shooting at 6 a.m. The victim was reportedly carjacked before the shooting, leading to a chase into Bossier Parish where the carjacking took place. The identities of the victims have not yet been released. Shriveport Police are working to notify all parties involved in the shooting.
