Severe weather is expected in parts of Oklahoma on Wednesday, with severe storms expected to develop in eastern and southeastern Oklahoma. The main threat is expected to be from the Eastern and Southern Eastern Oklahoma, particularly from Pauls Valley. Severe weather will also impact the western and eastern Oklahoma, with temperatures expected to drop to the 40s and 50s on Thursday. However, the state is seeing an increased tornado threat Thursday evening, particularly in Ponca City, the western sides of the metro, and western Oklahoma, where the tornado index is at four on a four scale. KOCO 5 Chief Meteorologist Damon Lane warns of a potential severe weather outbreak on Friday.
