The construction on Highway 75 in Sherman, Texas, has reduced foot traffic at local restaurants and increased fuel costs for commuters. The decreased foot traffic has led to increased gas consumption and increased traffic at Catrina's Cocina and Tequila Bar, where enchiladas and margaritas usually attract crowds. Yenifer Perea, assistant manager at the restaurant, said the reduced traffic negatively impacts the business and its employees.
