Albuquerque's Abraham Perez defeated Esneth Domingo by a unanimous decision in the IBF Intercontinental Flyweight Championship at a Legacy Promotions boxing card. Despite the loss, Perez's footwork and defense were noted as effective. The win was fitted with Perez's belt, which he hopes will help him move up to Japan's Masamichi Yabuki, who holds the world flyweight title. The Filipino boxer's defense was masterminded by Perez, who uses a technique similar to Floyd Patterson's "peekaboo defense". In the semi-main event, Albuquerque's Josh Torres defeated Mexico's Gerardo Alberto Fuentes in the third round.
