The National Weather Service has predicted that temperatures in Portland will remain near or slightly above normal in much of western Oregon, with temperatures expected to reach mid-60s and mid-70s. The National Weather Services predicts a 30-40% chance of temperatures falling below 36 degrees in the southern Willamette Valley and 50-80% across the upper Hood River Valley. Saturday will be another sunny day with mostly calm winds, and temperatures should reach about 69 degrees. However, weak systems from a low over south-central Canada are expected to swing through the metro area later this week, increasing chances of light showers.
