Dropout (formerly known as CollegeHumor), the comedy streaming service, has faced backlash after it announced cast members from its game show “Game Changer” would appear on an episode of ABC cop procedural “The Rookie” on the show. The episode featured Dropout CEO Sam Reich, "Game Changers” host, and frequent Dropout collaborators Vic Michaelis, Jacob Wysocki, Zac Oyama, and Anna Garcia, playing dramatized versions of themselves opposite “the Rookie’s” star Nathan Fillion. The backlash was largely due to fans' concerns that the show is "copaganda," while Dropout talent is known for their outspoken stance against police brutality. Reich responded by saying that the opportunity to expose Dropout to a larger audience felt too good to pass up. He also mentioned that there are no plans to incorporate a crossover into an upcoming episode of "GameChanger" into an unscripted world than scripted episode.
