The new MacBook Neo, a smaller, cheaper version of the MacBook Air, has been criticised for being too small for its performance compared to the previous model. The new model lacks features such as a larger screen, resolution, and a trackpad that allows for pressure-sensitive drawing and force clicks. The MacBook Neo also lacks True Tone and can only be configured to 512GB, compared to a maximum of 1TB or 2TB, or 4TB. However, the price of the $599 MacBook Neo does not include Touch ID, which is a crucial feature that is useful for logging in to websites and confirming confirmations. The size of the MacMacNe is smaller than the MacBook Pro or MacBook Pro, and its weight of 2.7 pounds is identical to that of the Air's. Despite these compromises, the MacBook Neo is expected to be used primarily for mobile use, as well as for video editing and video editing. The battery will not last as long as the one in the Air, with the battery being claimed to last up to 11 hours of wireless web browsing on the MacNe's compared to 15 hours on the Air.
