'Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4': Release date, plot, factions, & everything else we know about the upcoming 40K strategy game

The upcoming strategy game, "Dawn of War 4", is set to release in 2026, according to Games Workshop. The game is expected to return to the real-time strategy of the original 2004 game and is developed by a new studio, KING Art Games, which has been brought in to develop the game. The release date for the game has not yet been announced, but it is anticipated to be released by publisher Deep Silver and developer KING Art later this year. Despite this, the game is only confirmed to launch on PC (Windows) and is designed for a hardcore PC strategy experience. Despite being announced on August 19, 2025, there have been several trailers with both CGI and in-engine gameplay footage.
