A hazardous weather outlook is in effect for Northern Virginia and the tidal Potomac River due to a massive cold front moving through the state. Rain could fall in Northern Virginia, but in southern parts, it may be heavier and cause some slush on roads. Strong, blustery winds are also expected on Thursday, leading to several alerts for Maryland waters. The D.C. region should see temperatures in the mid-to-upper 50s on Saturday and then 50s to low 60s on Sunday. The National Weather Service's prediction is 100% for rain and snowfall.
