The Ohio Turnpike will restrict certain trucks and trailers due to high winds expected across Northern Ohio. The high-wind travel restriction will take effect at 12:01 a.m. Friday and will remain in place through 11:59 p.m., with passengers and most commercial trucks still allowed to use the turnpike. The National Weather Service has warned that wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph are possible, which could cause damage to tree limbs and power lines.
