Somerville, Massachusetts, will host two drop-off events on April 25 for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, allowing residents to safely dispose of unused or expired prescription medications. The events will be held at Public Safety Headquarters and the Teele Square Fire Station. Staff from the Somerville Police Department, along with the Prevention Services division, will provide prevention information and resources such as free Narcan and fentanyl test strips. The city also offers a year-round option for residents who cannot attend the event.
