GOP senator skewers Noem over DHS's lack of responsiveness

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) has criticised Kristi Noem's leadership at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for lack of responsiveness. At a Senate Judiciary Committee oversight hearing, Tillis accused Noem of stonewalling and threatened to disrupt Senate business if she didn't respond to his requests for additional funding for hurricane recovery in North Carolina and information on Operation Charlotte's Web. He also submitted a letter alleging that Noem had misled or stopped investigations on 10 matters. This is part of Tillis' ongoing criticism of Noem in the narrowly divided Senate.
