The efforts by these pro-Trump figures have sparked deep animosity on the island, with one member of the group coordinating his activities with the Trump administration and advising it on Greenland. While gaining independence from Denmark remains popular in Greenland, a recent survey showed 85% of Greenlanders opposed joining America.
