Amendment from House speaker would override wildlife management agency’s wakesports regulations

An amendment added to an advancing bill by Kentucky House Speaker David Osborne would override the state wildlife management agency's efforts to regulate wake boats on rivers and lakes throughout Kentucky. The amendment would prohibit the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources from implementing regulations such as restricting, restricting, or imposing a wake boat zone or limiting distances from shorelines, commercial docks, or moorage harbors. The bill passed the House by a 90-0 and requires approval from the Kentucky Senate to conciseise.
