Way too early 2027 Women’s NCAA Tournament bracketology: USC leads field

The 2026 Women's NCAA Tournament ended with UCLA winning the national championship over South Carolina. However, it is too early to predict the best teams in women's college basketball for the 2027 Women’s NCAA Tournament. USA TODAY Sports is expecting USC to be the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament, with JuJu Watkins returning with a stacked roster that includes Jazzy Davidson, Kennedy Smith, and Saniyah Hall. The number of at-large bids for this year's tournament will decrease by one, with 32 automatic bids determined by conference champions.
