Baseball player Cease's warmup song, "Soul Man," is one of the most unique in baseball and can be traced back to an after-hours club in Toronto in 1974. The song was discovered by Blue Jays manager Dave Walker when Cease was preparing for his home debut on March 28. The Blues Brothers were born in Toronto, a 10-minute drive east of the dome. Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi, who modeled parts of their characters off the same Downdecanational Blues Band.
