The funeral procession for 7-month-old Kaori Patterson-Moore was led by her family and onlookers in Brooklyn. The tiny pink casket was loaded into a glass carriage and covered in flowers with an image of Disney's Mini Mouse. Despite efforts to save the infant's life, she died a short time later at Woodhull Hospital. The funeral procession followed an emotional funeral service attended by family, friends, and civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton. The fatal shot was fired at the corner of Humboldt and Moore Streets on April 1.
