Mesfin Abay, 37, was operating an e-scooter across the road when he was hit by a 2022 Toyota Corolla, which was not immediately injured. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and police have not yet disclosed any charges related to the accident. Police are asking for information about the accident to be investigated.
