The owner of Paradox Comics-N-Cards, Richard Early, has described the last two weeks as the most impactful in the shop's history. The shop was packed with thousands of fans for National Free Comic Book Day and a meeting with pro wrestler Mick Foley the following day. The event was part of a larger tour of the region, with Foley's management team suggesting it should be part of the larger tour. Future community event plans include another Comic-Con at the existing Brewhalla and an even larger one in the proposed convention center once it is completed.
