Sloth World Orlando property cited for code violations after inspector visit

The planned Sloth World Orlando attraction is facing another setback after a county inspection found the property in violation of code requirements. The warehouse connected to the attraction, 7547 International Drive, lacked required permits to house animals and proper occupancy approvals. This has raised questions about whether the project can proceed. Orange County issued a stop-work order at the warehouse, which typically halts construction or operational activity until corrected and approvals are obtained. The project has been delayed for several months and faced scrutiny following concerns about animal welfare and multiple sloth deaths before opening.
