Anthropoised former Spirit Airlines flight attendant, Annie Flaherty, was arrested for impersonating a police officer and claiming to be hunting down stolen jewels. The incident occurred at a residence in Oakland Park, Florida, on Saturday, April 4. The Broward County Sheriff's Office responded to the residence after residents reported a suspicious incident. They found Flaherty at the door wearing a "police-style badge" and claimed she was a member of the "Miami-Dade Police". She also claimed to have been instructed by an FBI official to conduct a "training exercise" involving contacting neighbors about stolen diamonds. Flaherty was arrested and charged with one felony count of impersonating law enforcement.
