Realtor commissions continue to rise in Nevada, study says

Clever Real Estate's latest real estate agent commission survey found that despite a market slowdown and a recent court ruling, realtor fees continue to rise in Nevada and the rest of the country. The average Realtor fee in Nevada was 5.7 percent, with 2.7% going to the buyer's agent and 2.9% to the seller's agent. The National Association of Realtors settled a class-action lawsuit alleging collusion in commissions for buyers and sellers last year. The changes were implemented last August and have since led to a decrease in home sales in Southern Nevada.
