A new event center has been completed in the City of Saraland, Alabama, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on March 19. The event center is over 25,000 square feet and includes three large event spaces. The largest room is the Genesis Room, which can hold up to 1,100 seated or 1,800 standing. The City purchased the property for $4.6 million and invested an additional $2 million through municipal bonds. The rooms can be reserved for meetings, parties, and events for the community.
