Asia markets rebound, oil dives as Trump says Iran war could end soon

The President's comments about ending the Iran war could help Asian markets, however, as oil prices initially spiked and stocks on Wall Street fell before rebounding sharply following the announcement. This optimism contrasted with Iran's hardliners supporting its new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. The 10-year Treasury bond was down 2.3 basis points at 4.109% as traders speculated on the Federal Reserve's next rate cut. However, Iran's military has warned of increasing missile strikes if Iran does anything that stops the flow of oil within the Strait of Hormuz, threatening to be hit by the United States of America TWENTHERSHARDER than they have been hit so far. The U.S. dollar index retraced all gains of the previous week and was trading down 0.1% at 98.09.
