The 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade in Portland, marking its 20th year, attracted hundreds of spectators. The parade included horses, fire trucks, stilt walkers, clowns, the Portland Raging Grannies, marching bands, and politicians in convertibles. Spectators expressed their excitement about the upcoming Grand Floral and Starlight parades, which this year are being combined into one. The three-day celebration also included a classic car show and a carnival. On Sunday, an all-ages volunteer Jade District litter clean-up will take place.
