Andy Sambandam, founder and CEO of privacy tech firm, has warned against uploading tax returns or bank statements to AI tools, stating that it could reveal too much personal information that is difficult to remove once AI has access to these documents. He also suggested that using AI as a guide to identify the best stock to pick in the future, or the best mutual fund for the next 12 months, could compromise personal information. Additionally, he advised that financial advisors use AI to transcribe phone calls or summarize emails, if so, sensitive information could be shared.
