Suspect arrested in 1994 Pacific Beach cold case murder

San Diego police have arrested 50-year-old Jeffry Brandenburg in connection with a 1994 Pacific Beach homicide case that went cold over 30 years ago. The case was discovered when police responded to a call from the 700 block of Tourmaline Street in 1994. Despite multiple investigations, no leads were found. Police used advanced forensic techniques to identify Brandenburg as a suspect. He was taken into custody in Santa Cruz and transported to San Diego where he has been charged with first-degree murder.
