Exclusive: Scala Biodesign raises $16M for protein design

Scala Biodesign, a computational protein design software platform, has raised a $16 million Series A for its efforts to address the issue of protein engineering. The company's CEO, however, stated that while many issues with this issue are not discovered in advance, they will continue working towards the solution.
