Callan Brown, a collector known as 74XX Arcade Repair, has created "what might be the only playable Wild Gunman" machine in the world using ancient film reels and Wii-style tech. The arcade machine, created by legendary Game Boy designer Gunpei Yokoi, was used to play Wild West gun battles against live-action outlaws. The original version sold in very limited quantities, with only around 100 units shipped out. However, Brown managed to collect the D footage from an eBay auction for the full B and D footage, and built a replica cabinet using more durable, modern technology. Despite not being fully authentic, Brown plans to showcase his creation at Ontario Pinfest in May and plans to release the Arduino code and Unity game later.
