AI makers are focusing on the future of AI technology, with some arguing that taste is a uniquely human trait that cannot be taught to a machine. The latest model, Opus 4.7, is being described as "more tasteful and creative" when completing professional tasks, producing higher-quality interfaces, slides, and docs. Other AI companies like Anthropic and Patron Fund are working on AI agents trained to exhibit aesthetic judgment and cultural fluency. However, Marc Andreessen, some of the biggest AI bosses, argue that AI doesn't have taste, which could potentially replace everyone else. The future is dependent on whether AI models create more of what humans prefer or prefer.
