St. John’s loses first player to transfer portal after March Madness exit

St. John's captain, Sadiku Ibine Ayo, has indicated his intention to test the transfer portal following the team's 80-75 Sweet 16 loss to Duke. Despite a season-ending leg injury, Ayo has struggled to establish a regular role in the Red Storm's rotation and is reportedly close to head coach Rick Pitino. A reunion is also on the table.
