The TSA union representatives at Logan Airport have warned of long lines, delays, cancellations due to understaffing, and low morale at the airport. Mike Gayzagian, president of AFGE Local 2617, said that if they're not paid Friday, they will be behind 2.5 payments since the partial DHS shutdown started in February. He warned that morale is low and that the roughly 1,500 TSA agents he represents in New England will be unable to pay on time due to the lack of pay. The delays and cancellations have led to around 315 delays and 40 cancellations at Logan airport, according to FlightAware.
