Two El Dorado County Sheriff's deputies and a PG&E worker were shot and injured in the community of Camino, a day after the shooting. The incident occurred when a PGE crew reported a suspect had fired shots at them. When deputies arrived, two were shot, and the suspect was also injured. The pastor of Camine Community Church, Elijah Vogel, expressed surprise at the large police presence and hopes to help his community process the ordeal. The two deputies are currently receiving medical treatment and the suspected shooter is in the hospital.
