Jennifer Koonings, a New York City mental health nurse, has been fired after she filmed herself harassing a group of Israeli tourists in Times Square, calling them "baby killers" and "terrorists". The incident occurred when a panhandler dressed as Spider-Man intervened and Kooning was filmed shouting obscenities at the group. The footage quickly went viral on social media, leading to widespread calls for Koonnings to be fired. Koonning, who has a history of anti-Israel political activism, later announced she had been terminated from her position at Inspire Mental Health Services.
