Massachusetts hits reset on its Cannabis Control Commission

The Massachusetts governor has signed a bill that reduces the current five-member Cannabis Control Commission to three. The move comes as part of a strategy to streamline the commission and streamline its operations. The new commissioner will have to address a significant backlog of unfinished projects, including an online portal for anonymous tips and increasing the retail license cap from three to six. The deadline for the new commissioners is May 19.
