A 44-year-old Los Angeles woman, Shamim Mafi, has been arrested on suspicion of helping Iran send weapons to Sudan, where is in its fourth year of a civil war. Mafi is accused of facilitating the sale of "drones, bombs, and millions of rounds of ammunition" between Iran and the Sudanese Armed Forces. If convicted, she could face up to 20 years in prison.
