Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has enacted a law that prevents intoxicating hemp products from being sold and sold in the state of Ohio until March 20, 2025. The law, signed into law on Dec. 31, 2025, prohibits these types of drinks from selling, among other things. The 90-day grace period for this period ended at midnight on Friday at midnight, forcing some manufacturers to remove their most popular product from their shelves. The manufacturers are awaiting word from the Ohio Supreme Court if Governor Dewine's ban on these beverages can be overturned. The ban has caused staffing nightmares and could negatively impact jobs across the state.
