Chris Russo, the president of the Morristown Council, has announced his candidacy for a position as a Morris County Commissioner in November. The minimum number of petition signatures required for the election was 300. If elected, he would be the first Democrat in the county in over 50 years. Additionally, he works in pharmaceutical sales for Novartis and co-owns a business that organizes marathons and 5ks.
