Ohio boy, Levi Buxman, who also has Down syndrome, has been declared cancer-free two years after being diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia at age 9. The boy, who has spent nearly 267 nights in the hospital and a stroke that left doctors wondering how he survived, was celebrated at Green Elementary in Smithville with students and staff at Akron Children's Hospital to celebrate his freedom. His mother initially thought the diagnosis was the flu and was away at the time, but found out about the diagnosis when she found out.
