This follows the targeted killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other senior officials as part of a US-Israeli regime change operation. Graham argued that President Donald Trump's interventionist approach in Iran and other countries sets a "golden standard" for US foreign policy, and urged President Ronald Reagan to "unleash the American military with Israel" on Lebanon's Hezbollah. He also suggested that Cuba should be targeted and Saudi Arabia should be formally recognized as a Jewish state.
