Louisville woman pleads guilty to defrauding customers from pool business

A Louisville woman, Tracy Davenport, has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of wire fraud, bankruptcy fraud and money laundering for defrauding customers from her pool installation business. She will be required to pay at least $3.3 million in restitution. The charges stem from a scheme to induce customers into paying a large down payment up front, which she used to use for other purposes. The fraud had a significant financial and emotional impact on many of the victims.
