Jury deliberations are underway in the trial of suspect's father, Colin Gray, who is accused of murdering four and injuring nine others at Apalachee High School. Gray is the father of Colt Gray, accused of being reckless by not restricting his son's access to guns despite knowing his son could cause harm. The trial began on February 16 and 17, with opening statements and testimony from students and teachers who survived the shooting. The defense team argued that Gray bought the son the AR-style rifle used in the shooting to shift his focus from computers and gaming to outdoors and get him interested in hunting and target shooting. Two additional charges of child cruelty were dropped after two students did not testify.
